HISTORY

1977 - 1979
Company is established with the manufacturing of PVC pressure fittings.
Manufacturing of ball valves starts.
Worldwide exportation through our exclusive distributors begins.
Introduction of the first PVC butterfly valves.
1980 - 1985
Establishment of Forplast, Cepex and VRAC.
Extension of PVC pressure fitting diameters to greater than 4"/D110.
1986 - 1990
AENOR Certification (Spain) for PVC pressure fittings: today we are still the only company with this distinction.
1991 - 1995
Extension of PVC pressure fitting diameters to nearly 9"/D225.
Manufacturing of PP compression fittings begins.
Cepex becomes an official supplier of the Barcelona ‘92 Olympic Games.
Total sales pass the 10 million Euros mark.
1996 - 1997
Acquisition of large-scale injection molding machines allows extension of PVC pressure fitting diameters to greater than 12"/D315.
Foundation of Cepex Holding unites the three manufacturing companies of the group.
Creation and launch of the CEPEX trademark logo.
ISO 9002 certification by TÜV Management Service.
AFNOR Certification (France) for PVC pressure fittings.
Start up of the logistics warehouse in Parets del Vallès.
Opening of Cepex Portugal.
1998 - 2000

NSF Certification (USA) for ball valves.
WRAS Certification (UK) for PVC pressure fittings.
Opening of Cepex USA and Cepex Mexico.
Manufacturing of the first Corzan® PVC-C ball valve.

2001 - 2003
Birth of Cepex Italia.
Kiwa Certification (The Netherlands) for PVC pressure fittings.
Acquisition of mold manufacturer (Motlles Omega).
Opening of new branches in France, Germany, and Morocco.
Total sales reach 40 million Euros.
Consolidation of distribution activities through the new logistics warehouse in Maçanet de la Selva (Trace Logistics).
Cepex Holding has more than 350 employees.
