New valve boxes range
PRO Series
Cepex has created a new generation of valve boxes made of highimpact
polypropylene for underground irrigation systems; it offers a high
protection to underground valves and other irrigation or control
equipment where easy access for maintenance and control is crucial.
Furthermore of the qualities offered in the traditional Cepex valve
boxes, in the Pro series we can find lots of advantages that makes
it better, like: new design more modern and functional, built-in
space for control module systems, factory pierced slots for pipe
and beveled covers.
Also is posible to acquire optionally aditional accesories which
makes more complete this range, a frost proof accessory to avoid
frozen weather and a base grid to protect the base of the valve
box. |

Cepexflex
PVC Flexible Hose
Cepex introduces its new family of high-quality PVC flexible hose
products, offering more flexibility, lighter weight, and higher
strength than any other product on the market. The new hose has
smooth exterior and interior surfaces to facilitate fluid flow,
and a spiral reinforcement that makes it more rigid. It is available
in white and grey.
PVC flexible hose products are especially well-suited to hydro-sanitary
applications, filtration of swimming pools, hydrotherapy installations,
and drainage.
Outer diameters are sized for assembly with both PVC fittings (solvent
socket couplings) and PP fittings (compression couplings), making
this product compatible with most of Cepex' line of products. PVC
flexible hoses are highly resistant to both residual waters and
a wide range of chemicals. They can withstand operating temperatures
between –10º C and +55º C (14º F and 131º
F) and pressures at the attachment point of up to 30 bar (435 psi),
as well as a vacuum pressure of 350 mbar (5.1 psi). |

“Compact Series”
Ball Valves
Cepex introduces a new line of compact ball
valves made of PVC-U and supplied with EPDM O-rings and seats. They
are available in sizes ranging from D16 to D63 (3/8 to 2 in) in
both solvent socket and threaded versions. Maximum working pressure
is 10 bar (150 psi).
This valve is the perfect option when both high performance and
low cost are required. A great choice for irrigation systems or
anywhere where maintenance-free installations are needed thanks
to its compact molded body and one-piece ball and stem set. Its
all plastic construction makes it corrosion free and highly resistant
to abrasion.
“Compact Series” valves are available in DIN/Metric
standards. Threaded versions are supplied with BSP female threads.

Cepex PE 100
Butt welding and Electrofusion
fittings
Cepex introduces a complete range of solutions for PE 100 piping
applications: butt fusion and electrofusion fittings, as well as
welding equipment and valves.
PE 100 is known for its unique properties, which make it ideally
suited for several applications. It is an elastic, lightweight,
and tough material, with high thermal, chemical, and impact resistance.
These characteristics ensure reliable, fast, and low-cost installations.
In order to maximize the benefit to our customers, Cepex is introducing
a wide range of butt fusion and electrofusion fittings:
• Butt fusion fittings: available
from D25 to D315 in the following designs: 90º elbows, 45º
elbows, 30º elbows, 90º tees, 90º reducing tees,
caps, reducing bushes, and flange adaptors. Butt fusion fittings
are available in SDR 11 (16 bar) and SDR 17 (10 bar) versions.
• Electrofusion fittings: available
from D20 to D315 in the following designs: 90º elbows, 45º
elbows, equal tees, sockets, and male/female adaptors.
• PE 100 fittings can withstand
operating temperatures between -40º C and +100º C (-40º
F to +212º F). They are very easy to install using butt fusion
and electrofusion welding equipment, which is also offered by Cepex.
• Typical applications include
water distribution pipelines, waste water handling, water treatment
plants, the chemical industry, aquaculture systems, irrigation facilities,
and swimming pool installations.

Performance™ Series PP Compression Fittings:
New
look & more features
Cepex introduces their
improved range of PP compression fittings for PE pressure piping
applications. The complete range, from 16 to 110 mm (16-63 PN 16
/ 75-110 PN 10), is available in the following configurations: tees,
tees with male or female threaded connections, reducing tees, elbows,
elbows with male or female threaded connections, couplings, reducing
couplings, male/female adaptors, and plugs.
As with all Cepex
products, Performance™ Series PP Compression Fittings have
been tested and approved by the world's premier certification institutes.
They are the only PP compression fittings certified by TÜV
Product Service.
The most significant improvements applied to the product family
are as follows:
• Superior Reliability. The O-ring
seat has been tilted 20º. This allows the O-ring to press directly
against the pipe when the fitting is tightened for a more watertight
seal.
• Ease of Installation. Interior
guides have been included to prevent the pipe from turning during
assembly. In addition, the split ring opening has been optimized
to make pipe insertion even easier, enabling quick insertion without
the need to disassemble the nut from the fitting.
• Additional Standards. The
products are also available in ASTM/NPT standards and are NSF-certified
for drinking water distribution.
• New Look. A polished modern
design is the result of both improved internal components and a
new external appearance for the fittings, which are readily recognized
by their blue connectors. |

Universal Transition Fitting
Cepex
launches its new Universal Transition Fittings which provide the
ability to connect from metric polyethylene pipe to any other recognized
pipe material, both metal (copper, lead, galvanized steel) and plastic
(PVC, imperial PE, PP). These fittings are a new addition to the
Performance™ Series family of PP compression fittings.
•
Fast and Easy Connections. Connect by simply inserting the pipe
and then tightening the nut. No special tool is required for assembly
and there is no need to disassemble the fitting prior to installation
(the O-ring is seated only when the nut is tightened, allowing clearance
for the pipe to be easily inserted).
• Flexibility. Designed to cover
a wide range of pipe sizes (one fitting covers 6 mm in pipe diameters),
which reduces cost and stock levels.
• Reliability. The higher the
internal pressure, the tighter the split ring seals the connection,
increasing the fitting's dependability. Top quality raw materials
provide high impact and corrosion resistance.
• Versions. Universal x PE metric
and Universal x Universal. A kit is also available which converts
any PE metric inlet into a Universal inlet, enabling compatibility
with any Cepex Performance™ Series product: elbows, tees,
etc.
• Sizes. Currently available
for any size between 15 and 21 mm for the Universal inlet (20, 25,
and 32 mm for the PE inlet). 21-27 mm and 27-35 mm sizes will be
available soon.
• Pressure rating. PN 10 (at
20ºC).
